There was a miniVAX that was dissasembled in 1995 to be replaced by binx1, it could only handle 4 users at time and did all the email
goober was originally a rs6000 w/ 4 xterms (jdang)
binx1 (achruch) it was run by Mr Yee (jdang) and could only handle 4 users (the email was on this) (jdang)
binx was first proposed by or during jdang's time. Pre 1.0 days and such (jdang)
binx1 was a pentium 90 (binx.credits)
mvhs1 first linux machine (it was a gateway), MVHS had 6 gateways w/ linux that went out around MD (jdang)
binx1 built in 1994 and ran linux, the binx name comes from a little robot in Captain Jim (binx.credits) (dsandler)
by 1996 goober "wasn't that important" (dmason)
annex moved from goober to binx during  96 (kmernick)
goober died during fall of 96 but files managed to be saved. binx replaced goober as wwww.mbhs.edu (kmernick)

there was a seperate cap.mbhs.edu system that was faster then binx1 and slower then binx2 (dmoore)
binx2 was gotten around the move to the new school (jlin)
binx2 was a 333MHz machine (dmoore)
Shibla friend of hammond's. did NOT setup Zarya but setup Xiombarg and possibly DHCP. Setup mvhs1, 
binx3 is a dell poweredge with 2x PIII 933s and 1GB of RAM and was put online Feb 26 2001 (binxiii)

cyber910 broken quite a bit (jdang)
rt.mbhs.edu and cyber910.mbhs.edu were renamed to calvin and hobbes (1993ish, dsandler)
the cyber910 was won, along with that first net connection, after winning second place in the 1988 superquest

eclipse was a sun 3/60 that came from nowhere and was an Xterm, possibly running NetBSD (jkovach2)
There was an HP 9000/832 minicomputer called Leviathan. no NIC but used one of it's 32 serial ports to talk to Eclipse. endedup deadish after move to new school in MVHS office (jkovach2)
