I'm not so old that you probably wouldn't remember me, but for the record, really the only major project I worked on was fixing the Annex to dynamically allocate IP's, to not crash all the time, and to be logically organized. I really should have done more...but of course there were lots of other clubs and activities to participate in as well. I got root on binx on my birthday; that was probably one of my better birthday gifts...but nobody realized it was my birthday :( ! As most of you remember, the best computer idea to come out of my years at Blair was to make "online classes" for everybody at the school, which David Moore is still (!) pursuing, hours and hours each week. Some of the best memories I have involve the sysop room in the new Blair. We used to choose certain people in computer classes to stare at through the blinds, and as soon as they saw us staring at them, we'd close the blinds really fast, annoying them a little bit :) . Sometimes I would have to leave the room when certain couples entered and wanted to use the room's privacy.... Then there were times when David and I were getting annoyed by everyone asking us things during Java class, so we'd spend all class period hiding out in the sysop room, playing with Mr. Hammond's stuff :) (I can't quite remember what we used to play with, but I think he had a really BIG diaper pin in his office that we used to laugh at and wonder about all the time) instead of working in the "commoners" area. But Ms. Collins wound up calling our parents about this..., and I think demanded that we serve some sort of detention, though. -------, Andy
