Well, since I took care of the Macs, I don't really know if the UNIX people would consider that "sysopping," but hey, that's too bad. ;-) So, what did I do as a sysop? Well, I had to constantly fix the Macs that people kept breaking! =) The most common problem was the Macs refusing to acknowledge the network... but there was alway the occasional "nothing at all is working and the thing even refuses to turn on" problem. Those were fun. =P Of course, what was the standard solution for pretty much any problems, including network problems? "Reinstall from the backup." Inevitably, this wouldn't work, but it was certainly time-consuming! ;-) That's about all the fun stuff I can remember... feel free to chime in if you remember more Mac-Op Fun. ;-) --- Amir
